216 web safe colors

Hi
I am new to PHP and would appreciate if anybody could help me write a PHP script that displays the 216 web-safe colors using a for loop.
Any help would be appreciated.

ill give it a try right quick

general idea is that the numbers in blocks of 2 must be the same XXYYZZ

ie 336699
11cc88

so the idea would have 3 for loops
one inside the other the inner one contolling ZZ next out YY next out XX and just have then go through from 00-ff

and print $XX.$YY.$ZZ

should work for you.
Sorry its so high level code, if you have no idea and no one posts you code then maybe i can give you a hand further but try to figure it out good luck

there you go, buddy.

the colours step up from 0-ff in increments of 3: 00 33 66 99 etc. that code just makes a table out of it. (in IE anyway - netscape will probably explode or something).

Personally, I am here to help people who need help and not to do the work for them.

But with programming languages, the best way to learn is by looking at code. If you can get someone to take 5 minutes out to write some code that does something that you understand, then you will learn a lot more than fudging your way to success.

but coming on to this forum and asking:

'Can someone build my website?'

would probably not be a good idea 🙂

You are right, Dave,

In a sense that it takes looking at the code in order to learn the best, but this dude didn't even make an attempt to write the code himself.

Plus, he should've done research. There are plenty of sites out there that has good code posted.
