passing other variables

Hi,

on a page I have a form which action is the same page:
page.php:

<form action=page.php>

Now, what I use this page.php also for is surfing some areas: page.php?area=links

now I need something that I still am on the links area after the form submitted:
pagep.php and page.php?area=links is not the same, if a visitor is in the links area the form should be
<form action=page.php?area=links>

And in the future it could be that there will be more variables to pass through.
ne1 got an idea??

This one's simple too:

In the form, put a hidden variable:

(if out of code🙂
<input type=hidden name="area" value="<? echo $area; ?>">

(if in code🙂
echo '<input type=hidden name="area" value="'.$area.'">';

And that will just put that variable in the data passed to the target with the rest. If you're just checking for $area, then this will definately work.
