I have trouble getting IMAP to work with PHP4 (4.0.4pl1) on a Linux box. The strange thing is that it works great with PHP3 (same IMAP lib, same code). And it's NOT the { problem, I've tried that.
When I call imap_open I get "Warning: Couldn't open stream ...". Actually, I get that with or without the \ before the {.
Any ideas? It looks like a PHP4 bug to me.
