Apache+PHP memory leak

Hello all,
I'm trying to trace a problem that I've encounted with apache 1.3.19 + PHP 4.05 + mySQL 3.23.33 + Curl + SSL.
Since making some changes to a web community that I'm working on I've noticed that memory utilization has been creaping upwards rather than staying relatively constant as it did before these code changes. I suspect this to be an apache+PHP issue as this is a web server and thats all that is really running on it.
I'm looking for a way to trace through memory allocation and deallocation with PHP but I"m unable to find anything that would show me how to go about this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I got this same problem on my Win2000 + PHP4.0.6 + Apache1.3.12 + OpenSSL.

I dun know the reason either.

Could you tell me what kind of code you added to your web server and then the problem occured?

For me, I use many objects in my programs. I wonder whether that's the reason.

Hi is this a fatal error message resulting in a crash - I get the session wiped as well i.e set to 0 bytes - I am using a lot of classes and classes in the form of

class a

class b extends a

class c extends b

The error is so random it can be and hour or a day before it happens - the tests I have done are ot run hrough the site performing the exact steps over and over again 99% it works - then for no reason it crashes - is this similar to waht you are expeienceing.

It seems that my problem is different...

For me, when I am testing my program on Win2000 platform I keep watching the memory usage report in my task manager. I only notice the Apache process continues to increase its memory usage, from 5MB to 6, 7,
... then 15MB, after tens of PHP page accessing ---- however, no such 'fatal error' as you describe occurs on my PC.

I tried some static HTML page and even some very simple 'hellow world' PHP programs, they are all ok, don't have this problem.
