access list box in a form

I ve a list box in a form to be submitted with multiple selectio option.

How do I access this var in the submitted form?

whatever the name of the listbox is, that will be the name of the variable with a $ before it...

i.e.

<P>choose: <SELECT NAME=audience>
<OPTION SELECTED>
<OPTION>A
<OPTION>B
<OPTION>C
</SELECT>

the variable that contains the selected choice would then be $audience and it would contain the value of "A", "B", or "C"
