Send Mail

I'm new to PHP and I've made a couple of cool scripts. I don't know, however, how to send mail using PHP. Like if I want a user to enter their name, email, and a comment in a form, and have them submit it, and have the form be mailed to my email address.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Can anyone show any code to go with it?

How do I send HTML email?

In my case, we need to send an e-mail every week to our users, and should be in HTML format.

Any suggestions for sending it?

(changing Content-type: directive doesn't work in many e-mail clients like IMP).

And that appears to be the problem, if you send HTML mail it may not get interpreted properly. I send it in one of my scripts but then it's not critical and I figure there will be few users who get a bad copy.
You do it like this
$mail_headers="From: [e-mail]\r\nReply-to: [e-mail]\r\nContent-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1";

Just use something like that as a fourth argument in the mail() function.

I believe there is a way to send both HTML and text and have the client decide the format it wants but it's elluded me so far?
