mysql_close($new_connection) problem!

this is the type of error. the script looks fine and everything.. it just disturbs me that error. it is from line:

mysql_close ($new_connection);

can someone tell me what is wrong?

Probably not on that line at all, I'm no db expert but that line looks fine to me.
I think one of the arguments you have supplied to another db function is wrong.
