Repeating regions in table

Can anyone tell me the code for repeating table rows for a result set?

I've done this in ASP/VBscript but I can't figure out the PHP...

Also, can you repeat a set of two rows as shown below?

CELL1 | CELL2 |

Any advice would be a great help.
