MYSQL password ???

Hi, 1st question, how do I create a username, and a password in mySQL ?? When I created the database, I see no place for that!!

2nd question.

I have about 700 files (filenames) to enter in the database, is there a quicker way to enter them into the database? I do not want to waste over 1 hour typing all of that in! lol

Any help, for any question 1 or 2 would be greatly appreciated!

As for adding users, use this resource:

As for the second question, do you just want the filename and filesize as soforth entered into the database? Look at

http://www.php.net/readdir

This'll give you an idea how to loop through a directory and get all the filenames. Hope that helps!
