Now I have a new problem related to my last post (just below), which is: how to prevent attachments that have either no file extension or a .txt extension from displaying inline in the resulting email that I send to a person to notify them of a file upload?
I guess it is something in the MIME.class file I got from this site (from a tutorial by Kartic Krishnamurthy - http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/kartic20000807.php3), which presumably encodes the attachment in such a way that a mail client simply prints its contents in the body of the message.
What I want it for ALL files to appear as an icon (attachment) in the recipient's mail client. Currently other file types do this just fine (e.g., PDF, DOC, RTF) but only unknown or txt files get read inline.
Any idea?]
Thanks again guys this forum is amazing help for beginners like me.
