What is wrong with the following statement? <?

if (($sandare == "") && ($sandar_mail == "") && ($meddelande == "")) {
header('Location: http://ip-number/filename.html');
exit;
}

any help would be greatfully accepted...

Maybe it's the comparison your doing...

if ( isset($var1) && isset($var2) && isset(&var3) )
{

header('Location: http://ip-number/filename.html');

}

Check that Header() must be called before any output. If you have disabled warnings in php in this case you'll get nothing.

Either use:
http://www.somedomain.com/ip-number/filename.html

or:
ip-number/filename.html

that's what comes to my mind ...

It doesn't matter what to use: double or single quotes. Usually single quotes are used inside double quotes, to quote a substring in a php string variable e.g. for SQL queries such as:

$SQL="SELECT * FROM table WHERE name='John'";

Anyway both Header('Location: index.html') and Header("Location: index.html") will work fine.

I think Tomas mentioned ip-number as an IP adress of given host, not a directory.

Try putting "\n\n" on the end of the location header,-
ie:
header('Location: http://ip-number/filename.html\n\n')

afaik, the official spec says you need to do this (ie a blank line) to indicate the end of the http headers - maybe depends on browser-server combination....
