I have set up netpbm commands to allow the manipulation of images.
From the command line,
jpegtopnm /www/htdocs/img/old.jpg > /www/htdocs/img/new.ppm
works beautifully, but from php
exec("jpegtopnm /www/htdocs/img/old.jpg > /www/htdocs/img/new.ppm")
does not work. It may be to do with write permission, but I have chmod 777 the command jpegtopnm and the directory /www/htdocs/img. In addition, the command
exec("touch /www/img/text.txt") works.
Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated.
