Php functions in C ?

is it possible to find the C implementations of the PHP functions (at least some of them).
for performance purposes i am working on a CGI written in C language, and i am used to programm in PHP a lot. Any help would be appreciated.

Sure, just download the source from php.net. Just make sure you read the license for the source because open-source stuff can have restrictions as to commercialization.

now please a little more help about how to use a function 🙂

for example if wanna use the array functions which files do i need from that library?
and how do i call the functions from the C script?

can you plz give me an example.
