Hi there!

Very simple question.

If i have password like: abcdef
then I do

$password = 'abcdef';
$sec_password = md5($password);

The value of the $sec_password is:

e80b5017098950fc58aad83c8c14978e

Question:
How can I change the value of $sec_password to the original format (abcdef)

abcdef -> e80b5017098950fc58aad83c8c14978e -> abcdef

Hi!

md5 ist "oneway!" hash algorithms.
The only was to validate your key is:

md5($password) == $sec_password

it means you have only to save the $sec_password and ask the user to enter $password.

I would prefer to use crypt instead.
