Hello everyone!
Im coding a FTP indexer/spider/crawler to make a FTP search engine website.
I got the code to work, so now my script crawls up and down all directories on a FTP server, all folders, subfolders and so on...
so whats my problem? well, as i have tested it on my own local server (g6ftp server and also ftpServ-U) I see the log instantly, and sometimes when i run the script from my webserver, i see in the ftp log window, that it after like, 4minutes just stops.... not moving anywhere, though there is nothing wrong with my code, because next time i run it, it might not stop... and finish successfully.
And then it timesout and dissconnects from the sevrer, and floods! my webbrowser with this output:
Warning: Unable to find ftpbuf 1
Does anyone know how to prevent it from stopping, is it something with the buffer is full?... and is there someway i can, when my script gives me this error, i can force it to reconnect and continue.
Well, this ended up as a big post..log story...hope someone can help me, id really appreciate it!
