PHP refresher

Hey -

I'm trying to refresh a page after an edit / delete script is executed.
I echo a message that the post was edit/deleted, but I want it to refresh a page after the function.
I guess it's comparable to hotmail, yahoo etc.. after the user selects delete the page is refreshed with all the entries currently remaining.

Hope I didn't confuse the hell out of ya!

i think these sites work some what this way --

first say page a.php is displayed with all records

say u select a specific record to delete or update
the action goes to other page where if the query works fine then this page a.php is again included ..------

So I'm not sure how to do it, or what you mean.
This is how my app currently works.
1. Log in..
2.get info relevant to user_name & Password
(in list format)
3. select the item you want to edit or delete,
4. put into a form so the information can be updated. On the form I have to buttons, 1 delete, and 1 edit.
the rest it obivious..
5. I have a message that echos what event took place.
Some where in there I would like to have a link to step 2 or an auotmatic refresh to step 2.
