Hello!
How can I get the filesize of a not local file (a file, which is not on the same Webserver as the Script)?
Because of the size of the files I need, I can't download it and count the Bytes!
I've heared there is a possibility to request the file and get only the header - information with the filesize!?
How can I do this?
Or is there also a possibility to get the filesize via a ftp - connection, also if the URL beginns with "http://"? If yes, how?
