array keys question

HI folks
I have a table with 100 records and I select records $FirstNum - $LastNum and store them in an array $currentRecordsArray.

How do I get the 'key' values for the first and last records in the $currentRecordsArray?

Reason being, I need to reset $FirstNum and $LastNum to fetch either previus or next record sets.

I don't know if I have understood your question but I hope this functions can help you:

reset(array) : puts the pointer to the first element of the array.
next(array): returns the next element of an array(advance the pointer)
key(array): returns the key of the actual position of the pointer
$mykeys=array_keys(array) : returns an array containing the keys ("mykeys") of the original array.

Since posting I've been messing around with array_keys() and it may well provide a solution!
