from in mail()

Sorry.. many posts on me today..

hopefully one last question.. can i make the from in the mail() to be something other than [e-mail].. because the "title" on the mail when i receive it is always [e-mail] .. I want it to be... "whaterver i want"... any ide..?

Im not sure what you mean by "Title" of the email.. but if you mean the sender of the email you can do something like this

$headers = "From: [e-mail]";

mail("[e-mail]","subject","hello",$headers);

something like this:
mail("[e-mail]","subject","From: [e-mail]",$headers);

the problem is that i always get the hostname to in the "title".. isn't a BIG problem, but doesn't like it 🙂

any ideas..?
