unziping files without writing to disk..

Hello,

I have a lot of links to some tutorials in a database. These tutorials are compressed .txt or .html files. I would like people can view these files on-line without downloadin it to their hd.

Is there any way to make decompresion in flight, I mean directly without writing contents of zip file to disk?

It would be greate if I can have my decompressed zip in some variable 🙂) eg. $file 🙂)

i think it is only possible with bzip/zlib archives...

there's moet on compression in the manual... dunno exactly where...
(zlib is an extra module you have to compile, i know that 🙂)
