writing extensions in Windows

Hello all...

I would like to write my own PHP4 extension with C++ in Windows, but can't seem to find any documentation on doing so on the web. I only found doc's on doing so in Linus/Unix, tried modifying them for Windows compilation, with no success.

Could anyone refer me to some documentation/tutorial/samples on building your own dll's for PHP in Windows? I'd appreciate some help.

I would suggest attempting to build right into the php source tree first, which is pretty easy.

I did it myself just by looking at some other peoples code
