we are using mysql and php4. Having problem getting our search option to work.

problem: we enter data and submit it. We then go to search, but box pops up saying document contained no data.

can't figure out what is wrong with the code.

could it be something else is coded wrong?

it would help if you included the crucial parts of your code ?

"we then go to search". what is that search? a page?

Your search script may not outputting anything, but better odds are that the search time (ie: script run time) is exceeding the limit you have set up in your configuration file.

in that case, so something like

set_time_limit(0);
ignore_user_abort(true);
