Hi!
Please help me,I am now in a terrible trouble.

INPUT TYPE="CHECKBOX" NAME="Stuff[]" VALUE="foo">
<INPUT TYPE="CHECKBOX" NAME="Stuff[]" VALUE="bar">

In the passage above ,if I also want to validate the user input with javascript,such as I want to ensure that user must select one checkbox,how can i do it?since the javascript says a varible with "[]" appending is incorrect, it troubles me a lot.

You can't.
You shouldn't use javascript to validate data anyway because it's not reliable.

hi,

i am not sure, but dont use the '[]' where you define the name.
use them where you do your if statement.

i did it with radio buttons, maybe it works with the checkbuttons aswell...

Actually, you can. You just need to change the way you refer to the element.

With a normal name, something like document.Form1.Multi.value works.

With a PHP name using [], you need to change to a different format like document.Form1.elements['Multi[]'].value
