OK, I'm all fine with the actual form and everything, and maybe this isn't the place to ask, but WHY can't I change the width of <textarea>?????? It's always worked fine before, but this time, no matter what I do, it just totally ignores me, and makes it ridiculously wide.
I mean,

<textarea name="body" cols="5" rows="10" wrap="VIRTUAL"></textarea>

Anything wrong with that? Anything?? Didn't think so... GAAAAAAAAARGH. Driving me CRAZY, with such a simple thing. I even copied/pasted the input things from a million other sites (this one included) into mine, all the same problem.

It is in a table, I notice, but surely that doesn't matter? If it's any help, the site is Apache/PHP4/MySQL

I expect there's a minimum width for textareas - expand your cols to something like 40 to see that you CAN expand it.

Just can't shrink it past a certain size.

That's what I thought, but I KNOW I've had it smaller than that before, and, look at this page... I think the one on the forum here is cols="35", yet it comes out at the width of one around 50, even if I just copy/paste...
