Im a newbie to all of htis crazy php mysql stuff. Ive been going through the docs for both php and mysql. I am mastering getting information from the database, although I am yet to find how to put information into a database..

Say i get info for a user from a form. i send it to my php page, how do i get it into a table that i have openned..

The insert statment would look this:

INSERT INTO tbl_name (col1, col2, col3, etc) VALUES ('$col1', '$col2', '$col3', '$etc');
