Server IP Address

Anyone know the environment variable for returning the IP address for the server that is generating the page...

Not the clients ip address($REMOTE_ADDR), I need the servers IP...

I need to set variables based on which server the user is hitting...

If you don't want your script to wait while resolving your hostname to IP I suggest you use $SERVER_ADDR. As far as I can see it contains exactly the IP-address

Hint : Try phpinfo() some day. It reveals a lot of nice info about your system. s
