what is the list of characters that must be escaped by regular expressions? i can't find it in any of the FMs i have.
i think it is .+*[]$^ but i'm not sure.
i just want to replace
[],;| with _
eregi_replace("[[],;|]","_",$string);
is that right, or do i need to escape the pipe?
