Help... table writing

Can anybody tell me how to write to a specific table inside of a MySQL database? I have two websites, and only one has MySQL support, and I am limited to one database. Can anybody tell me how to write to a specific database table, instead of what I understand to just be the 'database'? I'm trying to write to database "Snaxjuice" and table "S469Personnel" and I have my other table (for the other site) "TUFPersonnel". I am trying to write to an individual table, so the data doesn't get mixed up. If anybody can help me, I'd be grateful.

you name the table in the SQL statement.

i.e.

$sql="INSERT INTO tablename VALUES ('value1'. 'value2', 'value3')"
