I am running my php4 scripts on a shared server and I was wondering if I should free up my variables at the end of the script? Or do they free them selves up when the script is done running?
Thanks, -Frank
Everything in PHP dies when your script finishes.
Except session variables, they hang around until you unset them or destroy the session.
No, the session vars also die when the script stops.
Only the session file on disk remains until it is cleaned up by the garbage collector.
Duh !
Yes, you are right.
