Sensor Swear Words

Hey everybody!

Here's my problem...

Im making a messageboard and don't want any swear words to be allowed. I have an idea on how to do it, but not sure how to. I thought If I put all the swear words into an array, and check to see if a swear word matches a word in the users message.

How can I make it so that it substitutes "&*#@" for swear words?

This is one of those problems that is pretty much unsolvable (at least completely) there are many different approaches.
When you find the right 'type' of answer bear in mind that you can spell @!#$ in various ways(I dont know if taht will print on this site!) EX(fuk fukk fucc) you also need to be aware that sometimes a swear word will innocently appear in the middle of a legitimately posted msg.

it's by no means perfect but may help yo design your own version specific to your needs!
