I need to make a script that will print out on my webpage who is chatting on my irc server. Does anyone have any ideas as I am familiar to php but not sure where to start

Exactly the same problem. phpIRC doesn't help me at all, I must admit that I have no PHP skills. Doesn't anybody have or know of such a script?
