Hi!

I like a simple trivia with 4 answers but each answer give a diferent points.
EXAMPLE:

1- QUESTION ONE?
A- ANSWER 1 = +5
B- ANSWER 2 = +2
C- ANSWER 3 = 0
D- ANSWER 4 = -3

2- QUESTION TWO
A- ANSWER 1 = +3
B- ANSWER 2 = -2
C- ANSWER 3 = +4
D- ANSWER 4 = 0

In the finish the trivia showme results of sum the diferent question.
EXAMPLE:

If I reply 1A and 2C, trivia showme the results: 11
If I reply 1B and 2D, trivia showme the results: 2
If I reply 1A and 2B, trivia showme the results: 3
If I reply 1D and 2B, trivia showme the results: -5

anyone be able send me an example to make these trivia in php?

As you can see, there a radio buttons that each have a specific value. That value is returned to PHP under the names $choice and $choice2. So all you have to do is add $choice and $choice2 to get your test results.

But....
I like make these trivia in multiple php files but the total of question is up to 300!.

If I display 15-20 question per page, how to the php sum of the question and continue with the next page?

Each time you come to a new page, you can have PHP print out "hidden" fields with the answer values in them.

suppose $number is the number of questions answered so far...

for ($i = 1; $i == $number; ++$i) {
$value = ${"choice$i"};
echo "<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"choice$i\" value=\"$value\">";
}

That'll print out hidden fields for all of the choices thus far. To add up all these answers, you could do this:

for ($i = 1; $i == $number; ++$i) {
$sum += ${"choice$i"};
}

A better way would be to use sessions. I can't explain that in a post, but I believe there's a number of tutorials in the articles section.

this won't work:

for ($i = 1; $i == $number; ++$i)

but this will:

for ($i = 1; $i < $number; $i++)

I have a posibility of use a MYSQL database to store de questions and answers.
I have 300 questions total in database but the test only take 170 questions ramdomly for each test, if be able these?
