Searching regexp matches by loops ?

Hello !
I have some problem.
I want to find some regexp matches in long text.
For example I have long text and I want to find all url's (www.domain.com).
I know how to do it when I read the text from a file (with while looping until EOF), but I have know idea with the text (in the variable etc.).

How have I to do it ?
How to loops the text and put the matches to the array ?

is the function you're looking for. Does multiple ereg searches and returns all found items in an array. New lines can throw it off, though. Hope your regexp skills are better than mine, I always have a frustrating time with the things. I do recall that matching [\D\S\W]* will match any string, including line breaks

I tried to do it with this function, but I
always get only first match ;-(
I'll try one more time with preg_match_all, maybe there was some mistakes in my code.
I'll check it !
