Strange SPACER image problem and PHP?

Ok... I put my crack pipe down hours ago, and I still see the problem occuring...

I use DreamWeaver (a rock-and-roll app!) -- I have some CELLS and within these Cells I placed some "spacer" images .. these are 1x1 tranparent pixels.

When I view my page (using CTRL-F12 to launch my Netscape 4.7x browser) -- I don't see my spacer images -- which is GOOD!

Now, when I upload my page and then access it through the webserver (url.php) -- only in netscape 4.7x (Netscape 6.x and IE are fine) -- I see my spacer images... this is highly annoying.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

(PS. I have completely replaced the spacer images on the server, a few times.)

For some reason Netscape 4.x doesn't like a "/" infront of your images...

So, for example -- my WebRoot looks something like:

Root
-- Inet
-- website
-- images

When Netscape sees: src="/images/spacer.gif"

It's looking for "images" at root. If you remove the 1st slash...

src="images/spacer.gif"

It'll look in current dir. Netscape 6 and IE don't have a problem with the 1st slash.
