Simple(?) mail() command - screws up!

Ok, I have a contact page which sends mail fine, using

mail($to, $subject, $message, 'FROM "Danny Tuppeny" <[e-mail]>');

Now on another page, I have a similar thing, and the line is:

mail($row['Email'], $Subject, $Message, 'From "MyBest50.com" <'.$From.'>');

Right, now when I click submit, it sends the mail BUT, the mail comes from [e-mail] (main domain on server), and it puts the 'From "MyBest50.com" <[e-mail]>' as the first line of the email!!!

What on earth is that all about?! 🙁

I'm so stupid! I missed the colon after From!!!

Also, this sort of formatting might make things a little easier to follow:

mail($row['Email'], $Subject, $Message, 'From: "MyBest50.com" <'.$From.'>');

to:

mail($row['Email'], $Subject, $Message, "From: MyBest50.com <$From>");

Is there any difference in the speed? I always used to use "s but when I noticed most of my strings didn't have variables in, I changed to 's, I guess I got carried away!

Is there any noticable speed difference (if you had a lot!) in:

echo "some string here 🙂";

and

?>some string here 🙂<?php

??
