$REMOTE_ADDR

I have this problem.

In this certain file, "poll.php", the variable $REMOTE_ADDR always comes up blank. As in other files, it gives me my IP address. What could be causing this?

Is $REMOTE_ADDR being called from within a function in the poll.php file? If so, you must either pass the var in as a function arguement or declare it global from within the function. This is usually the reason why CGI ENV-VARS's show up as blank. HTH,
