HTTP - Almost there - A lil more help

using the socket - http funtion, I am able to extract the following output from another script in another server.

HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/4.0 Date: Mon, 18 Jun 2001 23:12:28 GMT Content-type: text/html Page-Completion-Status: Normal Page-Completion-Status: Normal Set-Cookie: CFID=2008355; expires=Sun, 27-Sep-2037 00:00:00 GMT; path=/; Set-Cookie: CFTOKEN=70637100; expires=Sun, 27-Sep-2037 00:00:00 GMT; path=/; 1

***but I need yo pull only the last value which is 1 in this case (note: this is a returnde value generated by the script I call). How do I get this value only and not rest of the junk above.

this will work to get the last char. assuming all that data is in a string called $data.

echo $data[strlen($data) - 1];
