I am sure that you all know Deskmod has closed down. With the sudden ending, I had an idea. For months I have owned a domain and nothing on it, so I decided to change that. The idea for the site is not one that replicates, rather builds upon what deskmod had.
This site is not about money, it is about creating a community. Someplace people can go to find files, skins, themes, tutorials, help, anything. A place that will be run by the community, for the community.
We have started already, but we need more help with the php. I cannot offer you money or fame, but I can offer you a chance to help on something that maybe someday could be great. This is not a full-time job, it is a hobby that I already enjoy doing, but need more help with. As a coder, you would collaborate with our other php guy, working together to create code and ideas for a community-driven, dynamically generated, php/mysql powered website. It will include anything from php tutorials to winamp3 skins.
