updates not in right order......

i have my updates ordered by year, month, day DESC to have the most recent at the top (year month day all stored in mySQL db as ints).

however, if i make more than one post a day, the newer posts are below that day's first post. how can i correct this issue?

tried it, but how should i sort? when i did it like year month day hours minutes DESC, but it just reversed the order of everything.
