passing vars to/from Flash

Does anyone know how to pass a variable from a page embedded with a .swf (flash) object to a .php file for processing, and pass back the results to the same page containing the .swf file?

Hi Divva,

If you can get a PHP file to spew the variable in text format, you can pick it up by putting the PHP query string in as an argument to the loadVariablesNum command in Flash.

In other words, if you pass the variable as a string in the above command to a seperate PHP page, you should get the required data back.
