Flat-File Databases with PHP

I need to develop a flat file databse with PHP as i dont have knowlege or the resources to use sql. Can anybody give me any information about flat file databases with PHP?

Save yourself a LOT of headaches and get yourself MySQL or Postgres.

Yes I know you say you don't have the knowledge or resources, but believe me, you'll need a lot more knowledge and time to build a flatfile database,
and they'll never give you the kind of performance and fexibility that a real DBMS can give you.

Flat file databases take more effort to write, but if your isp does not offer a rdbms, then you have no option.
