Converting number to words in PHP

I am using PHP 4.I have a problem of converting number to words.For egg..(123 in numbers shoud be printed as One hundered and twenty three').Is there any functions in PHP for this kind of conversion.

no there is no inbuild function in php for this
only way is u write a script for this

to format a number use number_format
