Running an exe on another web site

Does anybody knows how I could run an .exe file which is stored on another web site using PHP?

The alternative would be to run a perl script on the same server but I can't get this running either.

Has anybody done it before?

You can't do anything on your site to force some other site to run an exe program, if that's what you're asking. What a security hole that would be!

Now of course if you control the second site, you can always set up the exe to run upon being triggered by some url on the site, but it doesn't sound like that's what you mean.
