limiting results?

Hi i'm basically trying to get results out an sql database, with the time format in it, it's displayed like '09:30:00' and i want to limit the read out to '09:30' i also have in the code an equasion regarding costs of thinks, can i limit it to 2 decimal places eg £12.10

Read the MySQL manual for de DATE_FORMAT() function.
THat lets you get the date/time in any format you like.

Read the PHP manual about string functions.
printf() is for formatting numbers and getting 2 decimals
