MySQL and arrays?

I know this has probably been asked before, and is also a stupid question, but how would you take say an $img array and store it in the table so that i can get the variables img[1], img[2] ... uh yea, im not really a newbie, just way to frustrated to figure this out atm... please help..

You could go about it a couple of different ways. The easiest is probably to use serialize() function. That will turn your array (or any data type) into a string. Then you can store that string in the database. To recreate the variable from the string, use the unserialize() function.

$myArray = array("element 1", "element 2");
$serializedArray = serialize($myArray);

$myArrayAgain = unserialize($serializedArray);
