how would you go about getting the page to recieve emails? is this similar to a forum? (I wouldn't know how to make a forum either though =] ) - from there I think I know how I can display it in an inbox type feel. (displaying the sender and what-not)

It sounds like you're trying to create a mail application. I suggest you read all about the mail functions and IMAP.
