conversion from UNIX date/time

Hi,

doesn't seem the 'Date and Time Functions' in PHP4 have what I need.

I need to convert from something in Unix format (u know, no of secs since the Unix epoch) to an actual date/time in this format :

2001-05-06 23:52:48.000

Seems the built-in functions are for converting TO Unix format.

Can anyone help, thanks in advance.

The Zend Code Exchange has tons of contributed functions for date/time conversions. Look on http://zend.com/codex.php in the date section.

from http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php:

"string date (string format [, int timestamp])

Returns a string formatted according to the given format string using the given timestamp or the current local time if no timestamp is given. "

just provide it with the timestamp you want to convert.
