Sending Attachment with mail

So, I want to send a pic from a form ...with the mail function. I found this script but something is iffy for me, and this is the error

Warning: fopen("C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\dancenews01.jpg","r") - No such file or directory

I know the mistake is because it's looking on the server instead of the person's desktop (the path really wanted) ...but why ?

Since PHP is a server-side scripting language - it has no access to a person's desktop. You might try upload via form. Then you could fopen() it. See http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php for details.
