page won't read .txt written by fwrite

I am using fwrite to write to a txt file (either 1 or 0) and then on another page, reading that file, then printing out one thing or another, depending on whether it's 1 or 0. It works all fine and dandy on the page i'm using fwrite on, but then the page i'm just reading that txt file, it's not always seeing that the txt file has changed.

I've tried clearing my cache, but no luck... any ideas?

Hi Clang,
In which mode you are opening that file for writing?
Should work fine if you are opening using "r+" mode

i.e $fp=fopen($filename,"r+");

I think the problem was that the file i was reading was in a password protected directory... i think! But I moved it into another directory and it seems to be fine now... thanks tho!
