Php Template

Hey guys I was wondering how do you go about making a php template. I made the layout in html and i was wondering is there some way to link the layout to the template so that only the content changes but the layout remains the same?

One easy way to do it is to take individual portions of your page and break them off into include files then call them from your individual pages. For instance: if your header to the page is a table, cut the html off into a file called hdr.php and call it using <? include(hdr.php); ?>. then just put the content where it needs to go.

i recommend going to a bookstore and checking out the last chapter of section one of the book PHP and MySQL Web Development. It touches on object-oriented web page creation with PHP.
